PRICING

BELOW ARE EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS WITH TIME AND PRICE

Individual

  • Variable depending details, placement and complexity of the design.

  • Single piece that is independent from other projects. Few lines or small elements can be added to enhance meaning and/or aesthetic.

  • Minimum charge.

No other appointment is booked for that day.

Body movement

  • This kind of projects are taking time to place and discuss regarding the size, placement, meaning, contrast, balance. It is crucial to ensure trust is there for me to not having to redraw important part of the design in order to allow enough time for tattooing.

  • Size can be more but also design can be more spaced out regarding placement and idea.

  • Complexity of design and elements wanted will determine quote. Some topics require a lot of research and trials to come up with the final design. Also, for example, placement such as ribs would be harder to execute than arm and so a larger quote.

Multiple sessions

  • As an example, a sleeve can take from 3 to 5 days depending on complexity of the design, elements, wishes to fill in the arm or a more spaced out composition. This is further discussed by email..

  • It is easier for me to complete a full project such as a sleeve, so booking days in a row could decrease price. Three days sleeve could be 6000 euros instead of 7500 euros for example. I do not increase price no mater what but depending on the sessions, with full transparency, if the last ones were easier then I’d be happy to lower price of these last days.

ESTIMATION

After having analysed your request and asking further questions I can tell you if your project matches my work and if I am the right artist for it. We will give you an estimation of the price that will be based on all the infos given. The quote can be discussed depending what other directions you are willing to take in terms of changes but it is not negotiable if keeping original thoughts. it comes really hard for us to know exactly what can be done and what can happen during the designing and preparation processes. This is why the next chapters explain the quoting policy we use.

MIMIMUM CHARGE

The minimum charge is still equivalent to a full day. Only one client a day is booked. When it comes to designing and understanding the vision of your idea or just letting me do my thing, time is required to ensure we will be both happy. We will discuss designs, size and placement. Changing the design many times and spending time on the preparation to make it perfectly fit the area is really uncertain to know beforehand how long it could take. Some complex designs could take over one hour to finalise and simpler ones could require 3 hours. It comes for us impossible to exactly determine times needed so using the full day if necessary is really important to make sure you are fully happy with everything. This is why one client a day is important and the minimum charge based on that. Price varies on countries and cities so quotes can only be given after inquiry sent.

PER DAY ONLY

In conclusion, I charge per project and so with only one client a day.

In the idea to get some ink with me, you must love most of my work to ensure I can do great art that matches your taste. I can’t execute your thoughts but I can turn them into my perspective of vision, and so loving most of what I do is crucial.

There are no problems at all to slightly change the design and size or even sometimes the placement. Going for 20 cm instead of 15cm would not change the quote. Adding one of few more elements is fine too. It comes to me to find out what else we could play with to finalise your design. If you come up with suggestions, I am totally okay with that and it happens very often. It has never happened that the price changed when these slight changes occurred. Although it comes natural that if twice the size and the number of elements that it was originally planned, a different quote could happened. But it would NEVER be specified and discussed AFTER the tattoo is done. When the quote is significantly higher than the minimum charge, the full day means we will get that tattoo done no matter what time we finish. I want both of us to be happy with the final result and it sometimes takes much longer than planned but in the optic of a higher quote than the minimum charge, a full day could become a long day. A complex design could take just one hour to get ready and a simpler one could take three. It is very variable so even if the preparation is about a normal time, the quote wouldn’t be less either. The quote is based also on the complexity of the tattoo itself not only the composition of the design. It means, if the preparation is easy, it does not reduce the quote. Once again, there are exceptions of course.
